Retreat!

Hello! I got back from my spring retreat on Sunday evening. Wow! Did we ever have a great time! I have lots of pictures to share!

Got down there Thursday evening around 7. Jodi Wright of Maddie and Me Designs flew up from Florida and I met her at a local restaurant and she followed me down to Mitchell, Indiana (birthplace of astronaut Gus Grissom). We had an awesome time! There were 30 of us all together. The following are pictures of the free stuff we got. The coordinator of the retreat contacted around 200 or more designers and shop owners and the stuff just poured in for us!

Above was from a local needlework shop, Fancy Works in Bloomington, Indiana.

I dyed this piece of fabric for this project by Whispered by the Wind (already had this)

Three frames!

The below pattern was designed and kitted up just for us! How cool is that?

That's just some of what we got! I may post more pictures later.

Ana's beautiful quilt!

Pam finished this piece by Marty Bell 1 over 1! Isn't it gorgeous!

This was stitched by Marie from Ohio. Isn't it cute? I can't remember the designer name, but it's called Boo!

Our show and tell table. Lots of talented stitchers! I wanted to bring it all home with me!

I really love this piece! I think Linda Jean said it was from a Dimensions Gold kit.

This book was given to me by Ana. And it's even signed by Ms. Cooper herself!

I bought the following - the scissors bed

Aging Artfully by Lizzie Kate, He's a Flake and the scissors bed by LHN, some WDW

And this great lamp!

This next picture reminds me of something from War of the Worlds! LOL!

In my blog list, "All About Me" and "Jeremiah's mom" are also Hoosier Stitchers and they have each posted about this retreat too. Check out the dragon on Jeremiah's mom's blog! It's awesome!

Whew, that's all for today! I still have more pictures, but will post in a day or two. It was an awesome weekend! Can't wait for the next one in the fall!

Eskie smiles,
