A finished finish and anniversary!

Well, I finally got the LHN Rose sampler stitched on to the rose pouch. Here's a picture.

I like the way it turned out! It's supposed to be a floss pouch, but I think it's too pretty for that! I may use it for a jewelry pouch when I travel. It was a quick and fun stitch.

Tomorrow, September 10, 2009, will be 6 months since I quit smoking! Woo hoo!! I have "SilkQuit Meter" on my computer that keeps track of how much money I've saved, how much life I've saved, and how many cigarettes I haven't smoked. Here is the most recent info -

Five months, four weeks, two days, 22 hours, 28 minutes and 39 seconds. 5518 cigarettes not smoked, saving $1,103.62. Life saved: 2 weeks, 5 days, 3 hours, 50 minutes.

Cool, huh? I'm so proud of myself!!

Here is another piece I finished recently, by Handblessings.

The picture didn't turn out as well as I thought. I stitched it on carnation pink Belfast with Weeks Dye Works floss and there are 4 charms on it. I think I'll see about having it finished as a wall hanging.

The group I belong to, Hoosier Stitchers, is having a get together this Saturday and I CAN'T WAIT! I'm ready to stitch all day with friends! Two more days!

That's it for now. See ya!~~~
