Another finish and bead stash!

I finished yet another project. The Rose Sampler by Little House Needleworks. It will go on the pouch in the next pic.

The pouch is supposed to be for floss, but I think it's too pretty to use for that! I may use it for jewelry when I travel, or something like that. It was made by the same company that made the Traveling Stitcher pieces.

I spent today with some of my Hoosier Stitcher friends at a library stitching! We had a great visit, a nice lunch, got some stitching done, and too much chocolate! We usually get together about once a month. Plans are in the works for a fall retreat, too! We had one in the spring and it was a blast!

I also finished a couple of beaded ornaments, but forgot to take pictures. I'll try to remember to do that next time.

I stopped at a bead store on my way home and bought some items I had been looking for. I bought 4 rivolis, 2 are supposed to be copper colored and the other two are a greenish color, with other colors in it. The pictures do NOT do them justice! They are so sparkly! I bought Laura McCabe's book on crystals and I want to do some earrings with these rivolis. The pattern is called Crystal Burst Earrings, I think. There are a LOT of projects I want to do in this book!

There are also 4 vintage gold rose buttons that I found. They were REALLY hard to photograph and this is the best pic I got of them.

I also found some Mother of Pearl stars that I needed for a hardanger project.

I really increased my bead stash today and didn't even spend that much! I also bought 4 tubes of Delicas in 3 colors. There is a bead show coming up next weekend that I want to go to, so I'm trying to save as much money as I can between now and then. I have a list of beads that I'm looking for.

Here is another picture of my newest grandson, Jasper. I had just finished feeding him and he was snoozing in my arms!

And my silly dog, Allie

It's a frisbee made with the hole in the middle and she has it in her mouth. Silly dog!

Well, I'm off to stitch or bead for a while. See ya!~~~
